Who will be visiting my pet?
The Busy Bee team is always growing, but we make sure it is staffed with knowledgeable, capable pet lovers with the experience necessary to handle any situation. While we do not guarantee that every visit will be performed by the same Critter Sitter, we do guarantee that all our staff are bonded and insured and are trained to the highest standards. What time will you come?
We schedule our visits according to your preferences. For pets with medical needs we will do our best to arrive at the exact time scheduled. For other pet visits you can expect that visits will take place within an hour of the scheduled time. Our regular pet visits take place between 8am and 9pm, while overnight visits cover 8pm to 8am. Visits required outside of these times will be subject to an additional charge.
My dog has never been walked with other dogs, can he be in group walks?
We usually start all dogs with at least one individual walk to evaluate their personality, level of training and comfort with other dogs and humans. If we feel they can participate in group walks we will start them in a small, low-key group walk and move on from there. At any time we reserve the right to move any dog into the individual program if we do not feel comfortable walking them in a group.
My dog is very social, can you guarantee that my dog will be in a group every day?
Our group walks are subject to availability so there may be instances when we do not have a group available for your dog. In these cases we will take your dog for an individual walk of the same price. Even for very social dogs the individual walks are very beneficial, giving us a chance to review leash and car skills, practice recall and develop a closer friendship with your pet.
My dog never gets walked on-leash, do you do off-leash walks?
Yes, we provide off-leash walks either individual or in a group, however all dogs must be able to walk on the leash and a leash must be provided by you for every walk. Dogs who are inexperienced with walking on the leash may be moved to individual walks until they have the skills to walk comfortably and safely both on the leash and off.
My dog never gets walked off-leash, can he be in off-leash walks?
Yes, we provide off-leash walks, but dogs must prove they have the basic obedience required on-leash before they will be let loose. These skills include recall, sitting and waiting, and greeting other dogs and people politely. Until these requirements are met, dogs will be kept on-leash.
What time will you come?
We schedule our walks according to your preferences, however the “midday break” is our most popular time for walks. If you schedule a midday break, individual or group, your dog will be walked sometime between 11am and 2pm. If your pet has special needs, or you have a particular schedule which requires the walk be in a tighter time-frame just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate those needs.
Will you train my dog?
We are not dog trainers and do not provide dog training. If you feel that you dog requires professional training, there are several trainers and puppy classes available in your area. You should find, however, that walks with us can improve leash skills, socialization, separation anxiety, and “boredom behaviours” like chewing, marking, barking and scratching/digging.
How much will it cost?
The price depends on how many walks you need and when. Visit our rates and services page to see our pricing system. Book five days a week for a discount! To know more you can book a consultation after which we can provide you with a personalized quote.

We feel that it is beneficial to dogs to meet a variety of people and other dogs so we try to rotate the walkers and dog groups.
